Date Night

Tonight was our last date as a family of 2. Tomorrow Dr. Klein is inducing me at 7:30 in the morning. We went to one of our favorite restaurants...PAPPASITO'S!!! I love it and I got my Mexican food fix! So we will be getting up bright and early to head to the hospital. I hope my induction goes well... I am very nervous that it could lead to a c-section, but I am continuing to pray that all goes well for Carson and me. Kyle and I will keep everyone up to date! We are sooooo excited to meet our little miracle baby. Cannot believe after 2 1/2 years of trying, the day has finally come. I thank God everyday!

2 days past...

Well, I am 2 days past my due date and really nothing is happening. Yes, I do feel contractions, but they are only about 4-6 an hour, yes-I have been walking like crazy, yes -I have eaten spicy food and fresh pineapple, and yes-I have done the "deed"..hehe.

On Wednesday, when Kyle and I went to the Dr. Klein, he said that I was 1cm dilated and 70-80% effaced. He said that if I was not in labor by June 10th he would induce me. So, that same day my friend who is an L & D nurse at the hospital where I will deliver ask Dr. Klein, "So, are you going to induce Andrea soon" and his response was..."Not with that cervix." hehe Dr. Klein....So I am nesting...I guess you could say. I have organized my laundry room and 4 cabinets in my kitchen....I made room for all of Carons's bottles, spoons, forks, knives, bowls and anything else kitchen related. Now I am going to attack the hall closet, I started last night but have not finished. I am also going to bake cookies for the nurse at the hospital...because I am sure I am going to be a bad patient...(nurse make the worse patients) and also make snacks for Kyle and our family while they are waiting for Carson to make his grand entrance.

We are going to look at cars tonight with my mother-in-law. She is here also waiting for Carson to come (she lives 5 hours away). She is in the market....so what a better way to walk!! I will keep you up-to date on "Has she gone into labor yet!" process. Enjoy your Saturday, I am going to go finish nesting.

What's going on????

Well, today I am 39 days and 5 days. At about 5am this morning I woke up needing to peep like always and then when I went to lay back down... I think I had a contraction. Well, then they started to continue, about every 20-30 minutes lasting about 10-20 seconds and then increased to 9-20 minutes and lasting anywhere from 10-30 seconds. This continues until 10:13 this morning. I was getting sick to my stomach and everything. I thought here we go!!! I was a little excited and getting extremely nervous. But everything has stopped, but I still feel sick to my stomach. So that is my progress for the day. I go to Dr. Klein in the morning....I am hoping for some progress....I am sooooo tired of being pregnant, and Kyle and I are just dying to meet Carson.

39 Week Picture

Well, I think I am HUGE!!! But I went shopping this weekend and people kept saying, you are so small....WHATEVER is all I can say to that.

I went to the doctor last Wednesday and I was only dilated a "finger tip." Then Dr. Klein informed me I was his "Most Pregnant Patient" and that he was going out of town for the holiday weekend. Thank goodness it is Monday and he is back, just in case I go into labor. If nothing happens tonight or tomorrow, I will see Dr. Klein on Wednesday! I am due in Thursday so we will see what happens. I will keep you updated!

Carson's Nursery!

Carson's room has been completed for about 3 weeks now, so I am sorry for just now posting pictures. His room is call "Jungle Friends" and I hope y'all enjoy the pictures!

37 week doctors appointment!!!

Well, I went to the doctor yesterday for my 37 week check up, and once again, just like last week Dr. Klein called me a...."GREEN BANANA"....and for those who don't know what that is....well, I am not "ripe", not dilated, nor has Carson started his journey down, so that Kyle and I can meet him. I guess he just likes being close to his Momma! And I thought that I would have made a little progress, because last weekend was our 5th wedding anniversary, and we walk all weekend on the San Antonio Riverwalk and in Fredsrickburg. We had the best time and I got a BEAUTIFUL right handed ring from my sweet and wonderful hubby!!! I also started swimming....and still no progress!!!



So I am hoping next week Carson might show us a little sign that he might want to meet us! I will be saying my prayers for some progress!!! I will keep y'all updated and pictures to come of the nursery and my belly!

32 week ultrasound!

Here are a few picture of our little angels face taken about 3 weeks ago. Dr. Klein says Carson is in the 81%. I was a little nervous about how big Carson is but Dr. Klein told me the ultrasound tech tends to measure on the larger side. Therefore, I am keeping my finger crossed on his size. His room is almost ready!!! All we need to do is finish the window treatments! It is coming together so well! I cannot wait.
